What TravelingAmos dislikes about Meds:
We heard so much about the full English breakfast, but alas it was not an option for us since we eat only halal. Hearing that Meds offered a Halal English breakfast made me think that the impossible could be possible. I ordered the a la Carte, which is the full English breakfast minus the chips. Others in my family ordered omelettes. While it was not the highest quality we've ever had, it fueled us until the late aft... View all feedback.

This restaurant used to be excellent, but the recent changes to the menu and smaller portion sizes are disappointing. It still fills up quickly, and you would expect them to renovate after all this time, but they haven't.

This restaurant is a great option for delicious, affordable food. I ordered one of their breakfast dishes and it was fantastic. The freshly squeezed orange juice was also very enjoyable.

While the food at this restaurant is halal, I believe it is highly overrated. The service tends to be slow because it gets very crowded. I would recommend going to Delizia's next door for breakfast instead.

Great little place, fab value for money and portion is big. Quick service. Only issue not ideal with kids

This brunch option is more value for money than anything, they have managed to maintain their portion sizes. However the request for tap water just made the whole visit memorable for the distinctively unwarranted smelling tap water mugs. We all just wanted to heave and I would advise everyone to avoid requesting water if you wish to continue going there.

Meds offers a range of halal options at an affordable price, with generous portion sizes that make it a popular choice for breakfast enthusiasts. Despite mixed reviews about service and cleanliness, many visitors praise the restaurant for its hearty full English breakfast and delicious pasta. While some diners have encountered issues such as slow service and unfriendly staff, others appreciate the inviting atmosphere and return frequently. Parking remains challenging, but the flavorful dishes and significant portions keep patrons coming back for more. With a reputation for being a hidden gem, Meds is worth a visit for anyone nearby.

I absolutely love this place! I just wish it were bigger because it tends to get really crowded.

I visit this restaurant because it's just a few minutes away from my university, and I rarely have time for breakfast in the mornings. I tend to order the same thing every time, haha. It tends to get busy around 11 am, so I prefer to go at 10 am. The servers are always friendly and polite, the food is fantastic, and the price is reasonable; I pay £7.99 for my omelette. Overall, I would rate it 5 out of 5!

I went to this restaurant for breakfast with a couple of friends. While we were dining, the staff were moving kitchen equipment outside and accidentally bumped into me, causing one of them to rip my jacket. When I informed them about the damage, they were dismissive and only apologized when I became upset. It was a £260 jacket and they tried to offer me a measly discount on my meal as compensation. To make matters worse, both my husband and I found our breakfast to be cold and unappetizing. Overall, the food was subpar and the service was even worse. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I've been to the Meds on Sunday where I ate my very first English breakfast. Very well furnished with toasts, beans, sausages, bacon, fries, omelette, tomato... Definitely not disappointed by the service, or the food or the staff. Can't wait to comeback during my next trip in London !

A lovely little cafe located in Mile End. They service a variety of pastas, burgers, breakfast etc. It's always busy as it's not far from large Unis. Food is decent, not the best but I've had a lot worse (6.5/10). I would rate it higher but slightly overpriced.
