What Paula Russell doesn't like about Kar Woo:
Worst customer service ever. Our food was very late because they clearly forgot about it. They didn’t even apologise instead one of the workers huffed and puffed when I asked about my order . As soon as businesses make money they forget basic customer service/ manners. View all feedback.
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Our food was extremely late because it was clearly forgotten. There was no apology from the staff, and one worker even seemed annoyed when I inquired about my order. It appeared that once the restaurant started making money, they neglected basic customer service and management.

I also tried the little chicken baked rice with chili, priced at £3.45. When ordering, they asked if I wanted it spicy, and I said yes. Unfortunately, the rice was not cooked properly - it was either too hard or overcooked, which detracted from the meal. However, the fried egg pieces in the rice added a nice touch. The chicken was tender and flavorful, but the overall dish was ruined by the poorly cooked rice.
This cozy restaurant, run by a man and a woman, serves Chinese cuisine with a slight spicy twist. Their fried rice dishes are particularly inventive, with a kick of heat that is perfect for those who enjoy a little spice. They use incredibly hot chilis, but don't worry - they only make it spicy if you request it. While the wait times can be long, up to 2 hours during peak hours, the delicious food is worth the wait. This is not your typical Asian fusion restaurant - they take classic dishes and make them even better.
One of my favourite Chinese places. Their chicken chow meins are really good, so are the fried rice dishes. Their fish cakes are really tasty. Battered burgers are great. Only problem is the portion size of a curry chip roll. Used to be way bigger before.
