What david parry dislikes about Hung Tou:
No communication only found out it will be late when it was half hour later and i had to contact just eat Couldn’t contact restaurant must of had phone off understand they were probably busier than expected but the customer service received was shocking Next time they should communicate more regularly with their customers on when the food should arrive. Food was also luke warm on arrival. View all feedback.

I’ve read the reviews and really I don’t get it. I’ve been getting takeaways from Hung Tou for over 4 years and I must say it’s the best cheap Chinese takeaway in London that I’m aware of. My favourite is the Beef Ho Fun and for me it’s in the top 3 in London. I would say only Royal China in Baker Street London Hong Kong near Heathrow come anywhere near it and cost almost double at these 2 restaurants. The beef is nice and soft and in abundance rather than in most places where they put as little as possible and it’s usually over cooked and even hard. So my advice is try it for yourself and decide. Don’t be put off by the other comments.
I ordered takeout from Hung Tou while I was in the area. The delivery arrived close to the expected time, but unfortunately, the food was not what I had requested. The chow mein and fried rice were okay, but the chop suey was missing and instead, sweet and sour vegetables were included. I didn't feel like calling to complain since it would have meant everyone eating at different times. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
