The breakfast m... read more This family-owned restaurant is run by a husband and wife duo from Italy. They focus on serving delicious, simple dishes rather than fancy ones. The breakfast menu may appear basic to some, but we appreciated the different egg combinations available. We ordered 2 flat whites which I thoroughly enjoyed. I discovered that they roast their own coffee beans in Italy and use them in the cafe. They have a great assortment of pastries to accompany the coffee, and we were able to request half portions to try a variety of them.

There are several options to choose from and you won't be disappointed with whatever you choose. The desserts are also amazing - make sure to try the tiramisu, cheesecake, chocolate cake, or any other options they have. Both Antonio and his wife are very friendly and skilled at their jobs. Additionally, they always have interesting art exhibitions happening that you may enjoy.

The staff are friendly and there is always a great atmosphere inside with good conversation. Always an array of delicious cakes and tasty pastries on the counter. The café does a tasty lunch with generous portions of Italian home made cooking. Excellent value for money. Annarita and Antonio are warm and welcoming hosts who make people want to come back for more. If you are in the Aldgate area make sure it is on your tick list of places to visit. You won't be disappointed.
