We were very hungry when we found this place and from outside, it was not all that was appealing. we looked at the menu outside and decided to make sure that Syrian food sounded good. on the top it was halaal. the appetizers we had were very good, interesting seasoned. I had a royal cousin who was quite tall and full of meat. I couldn't finish it! I cost it. they bring the bill with sweet tasty. it wasn't my pleasure because it was too oily. but great place! recommended.

Went yesterday lunch time and had a wonderful meal-... read more We have eaten at Damascu bite many times over the years and it rarely ever lets us down. I prefer to eat in. Went yesterday lunch time and had a wonderful meal- kids always accommodated with their fussy eating! Too many places in east London now over promise and under deliver at inflated prices but Damascu Bite always serves fresh, tasty food which is always value for money. Staff are great and take care of customers. Ok it’s not fine dining but it doesn’t pretend to be- it’s authentic Middle Eastern food and as a family it’s keeps everyone happy. If you are in brick lane this is a great option and long may it last !

We just love to gorge with their food and deserts...it helps that the prices are very reasonable. It's really difficult to find such price/ quality ratio in London... Owners are very nice and restaurant is clean. While I'm writing this, I'm drooling at the thought of a big lamb shawarma followed by some baklava...yummm!

But that wasn’t the end of it we were treated to complimentary pickles, rice and finally the most delicious baclava type sweets ….and then some more of them to take away with us! Charming service, excellent value and highly recommended if you’re in the area.

The food (we shared the hummus and chicken shawarma platter) was phenomenal and also plenty for two. The food was extremely flavorful, and the rice simply blew us away with how deliciously spiced it was. It was as flavorful as biryani rice, which both surprised and impressed us. Don’t sleep on Damascus Bites we’ll be coming by here whenever we are in London again! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: They had clearly labeled vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. The food was authentic and delicious.
