Was Anonym at Douro a mag?
A great experience for my first Portuguese restaurant! The least we can say is that it's rich. Thank you for this discovery. My best wishes for happiness for the boss's retirement! View all feedback.

What Kameron Ferry dislikes about Douro:
Good welcome. Good kitchen without more. on the other hand salted note (not like cod) tasted. exorbitant rate in relation to the meal. Then six euros for a super bock beer. Yes, very expensive. View all feedback.

A reference from the Latin cuisine to towers (and in the region) for nearly 40 years. from the beautiful verdes vinhos to be enjoyed in apero (the porto are also excellent) with a plate of charcuterie from there or of cod croquettes, to the various preparations of cod or the carne has la alentejo or the pig of milk or the tripes unforgettable (on order), finishing with the best nata pasteis of the place: everything is good at tone. tone, the foptballer reverted into a master, the master this place, drôlatique, cultivated and festive. when the low and heavy sky (etc). Think of the douro pots.

We went there as a couple and then with friends. the atmosphere is friendly, even festive, some nights, and the boss is great. The served kitchen is traditional and family, the dishes are good and hearty. a small tip of portugal with towers that is worth the detour.

Returning to Le Douro after a gap of some years we were delighted to find Tonio, le Patron, still ensconced by the bar serving white port and chatting to all and sundry. The food is like the welcome warm, unpretentious and very good! We chose, from a list of dishes of the day, an excellent grilled octopus and a very good cuttle fish, complemented by a glass of vinho verde, chilled and with natural spritz, followed by two good coffees each. Best to arrive early or book, for the restaurant is very often full with friendly habitués who add to the warm and pleasant atmosphere.

Very nice small Portuguese restaurant in Tours! The boss is very nice and the kitchen is very good. For me it was walnut dough with homemade fries and obviously nata pasteis for dessert
