This charming restaurant in the region was one of the highlights of my bike tour through the Loire Valley. the menu was simple, but all basic and all taste. simply said, they had a choice of court (plat du jour), directed (treat...or starter and a plate du jour) or directed (worship, plat du jour dessert or cheese). I decided to have a deer (gazpacho to die for) and the white thunfish caught fresh in nearby atlantic. fresh does not begin to describe how perfect the fish was and the accompanying caponata was from this world, instead of the standard Italian sweetener, thierry’s caponata was a perfectly prepared medley of paprika, auberginen, zucchini and tomaten. perfection! the local rose was a tasty bite. Unfortunately it was a small batch wine and not available in the usa, otherwise I would have ordered a case to send to home. which made the evening particularly wonderful, was the attentive service, both from the server that was extremely professional, efficient and accommodating, as well as from the owner/cook, thierry pradeilles, who know us with little antidote and his know and love of the Loire Valley, frankly, eat and wee regalt. dinner in the qg restaurant artisanal à was one of the highlights of my honeymoon through the Loire Valley. merci thierry!
