Even with some slight difficulties on the language barrier, we communicated quite well all night. we all enjoyed our eating .especially my bark meat dish was super cooked and I enjoyed every bite. great eating and courteous staff!

Came over this place when we couldn't get a table on a better rated popular place on the road. it turned out to be a happiness for us, as the personal was very... read more Came over this place when we couldn't get a table on a better rated popular place on the road. it turned out to be a happiness for us, as the personal was very pleasant, the owner came out to see us and make sure everything was in order, and eating was super and very cheap. the wine card was good with many local and French weeping and a helpful waiter who knew his wine list.

Like other reviewers we chose atelier lebeau, because it was a few doors away from another highly rated restaurant that we tried unsuccessfully without going to... read more Like other reviewers we chose atelier lebeau, because it was a few doors away from another highly rated restaurant that we tried unsuccessfully without going to reservation. we had luck, because atelier lebeau proved to be pretty good. one of us had dorade, the other one calfse, both well prepared and presented. the ceviche appetizer was particularly good. the service was attentive without being intrusive. atelier lebeau is a weinbarian, so the list of the wee that was available from the glass was extensive. during our meal we were the only non-French speakers in the room, suggesting that the restaurant is popular with tour residents, but not much is visited by tourists. we would return when we visit tours again.

It has become a rare commodity in 2017...The map is really original allowing a wide choice of entries, dishes, and desserts. The millefeuille of meat is of very high quality or the holy jacques with sublime seiche ink pasta... Don't miss the desserts: the cherry pie sprinkled with kirsch or even the granny-like waffle are wonders! It's all done home. to finish the wine map is exhaustive and offered various terroirs. the note is light in terms of quality. Go! Don't miss the workshops!!
