From the moment I stepped in with... read more I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mexcal while visiting Toulouse, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in with its inviting and charming atmosphere. The decor was simple, creating a warm and cozy setting that made for a perfect relaxed dining environment. What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by their staff. The team was very friendly and funny and attentive, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit.. The menu is very small but the food was amazing. The flavours were truly authentic. The dishes were well prepared and for the first time I got the feeling that I was eating authentic Mexican food, and not your run of mill tex mex. One notable mention is their mescal selection, which was a highlight of the evening. The mescal offerings were impressive. The Mexcal is a rare find and ticks all the boxes.
