Description

Just Sizzlin' Resto is a locally owned restaurant in Bohol, Philippines that opened in February. We offer a unique fusion of traditional Filipino dishes with a modern and Western twist, served sizzling hot on cast iron plates. Some of our specialties include pork bas-uy soup, humbang binisaya, chicken hinalang, ginamos rice, and our top-selling dessert, Sweet Bohol. Join us daily from morning until evening, and again in the evening until late night. Come sizzle with us!.

Love this place, close to where I live. The food is really good and the desserts are so yummylicious! I would recommend this.

Food: Solid 5 stars; Tasty, fresh, quality ingredients prepared in a healthy manner. Ambience: 3.5 stars; Modern and stylish, but has an upscale California fast food feel. Service: 4 stars; I have seen this place for a few years and have always been turned off by the name. Just Sizzlin' makes me think of plates of sizzling fried meat in pork fat, which though tasty, does not inspire wellbeing. The name is clearly misleading. The menu was way beyond sizzling plates. We ordered anchovy rice, which was not oily at all, soup filled with fresh vegetables, and grilled stuffed squid. The result was one of the fresher, healthier and tastier meals I have had in Bohol. So while I am sure they have a great crispy pata and wonderful sisig, they also have a wide selection of seafood and freshly prepared healthier options that can be harder to find when dining out locally. This is now one of my top 3 places on the island.

Good apps, especially the wings, good entrees, wish I tried their deserts. Must come here to eat if in Bohol.

Their food and flavors are good. If you're craving for spicy try the chicken sisig and the chili fried rice. Their pork ribs and pancit (Filipino chow mein) are my best picks. And yes, they serve the food sizzlin'! I would've given them 5 stars if they had ice cold beer.
