We have been visiting this restaurant for 2 years for lunch and drinks on many occasions but unfortunately the service has greatly deteriorated and the prices have increased too much. We now have another favourite close by

My husband and I lived very close to this restaurant which has a stunning beachfront setting. Sadly my husband died earlier this year. Today would have been his 75th birthday and the six month anniversary of his death. To mark the occasion I asked a couple of friends to join me for lunch at what had been one of my husbands favourite eating places. Sadly it was not the special occasion we anticipated. The menu has been refuced with many old favourites missing I wanted the lamb kebabs in honour of my husband as this is what he always ordered; prices have risen considerably. We ordered a bottle of Rose wine and were advised to go for the Rioja rather than the house wine (no wine list in the menu so no idea if price . The wine was pleasant as it should be at 18 euro a bottle BUT it was room temperature!!! We asked for an ice bucket and just received a plastic bag half filled with water and a few icecubes totally unable to chill the bottle; when we asked for extra ice we were made to feel very uncomfortable. The wine didn't reach an acceptable temperature all the time we had it Must be honest and say the beer one of my friends ordered was nicely chilled. My wok main course was good but Mt friends burger was dangerously undercooked (and she likes blue steak!!! so had to be sent back the kitchen; the burger my other friend had was just about cooked enough to be edible. We were not offered bread or Ali Oli and just received a small bowl of crisps whereas Spanish customers were getting olives. Two of us had a dessert Brownie with ice cream; the Brownies were stodgy but edible but my ice cream was virtually melted so had obviously been waiting for delivery for some time. At best I can say service was poor and surly noone looked happy in their work. Our full order was: One large beer and a bottle of Rose Rioja (warm No starters Two burgers and one Prawn Wok Two Brownies Two coffees and a brandy Total 86 euro and not worth half that amount! Such a shame as the location is wonderful. This was a very poignant and special occasion completely spoiled by poor service and overpriced/average food. I was hoping to start visiting this restaurant again on a regular basis as it holds happy memories for me but, sadly, I won't be returning nor will my friends.

Very Spanish restaurant right smack on the beach. We checked to make sure they had monkfish on the menu before we booked and had to rely on a family member to translate. We needn’t have been concerned as the meal we had was awesome, yes my wife had the monkfish. We didn’t take a photo which we usually do as we don’t won’t to spoil the surprise. The food, service and quality was awesome. We highly recommend you give it a try.

Unfriendly. Very small paella. Came away hungry. Won't be returning. Children not welcome. Nice location but not suitable for families
