Localino on two floors, very characteristic and in theme with the country. Who expects zeffirino and menu with choice between 20 first and 20 seconds will be disappointed, but perhaps has wrong country on departure. I went to this inn on December 16 with 3 friends, after seeing the beautiful crib of Pentema. On December 14 we called to book, we had booked for 4 people and also left a phone number. Arrived at the inn, we discover that our reservation is magically gone. The lady from the inn asks us in a bad way with whom we spoke, as if we could know their names, and makes us wait more than 10 minutes on foot full of stuff to decide what to do. He finally decided to put us in a table for 2, but when we had settled, he changed his mind and put us in another table. At this point we are abandoned to ourselves for more than half an hour. No one who asks us what we want to eat, they only bring us a drink and some bread, which we end up in a few minutes because you are hungry. After half an hour the maid asks us if we want the appetizer and say yes. After about twenty minutes the appetizer arrives, that it was enough yes and no for two people. After another wait we are brought the first, quite good. Then we came to the second: I take nothing, others take roast and wet boar. Both of us, so much so that the boar had to give it to the dog! At this point two hours had already passed since we entered and we were looking forward to leaving. My friends ask for 2 coffee and a dessert. The waitress brings two desserts and a coffee. In the meantime a lady arrives to complain to the managers for poor food and high prices. All the time in the dining room, two tables remain free. So then all this problem of places was not there. We ask for the account because we can no longer stay there and at this point we have another bitter surprise: 28 euros per head for 4 menus at a fixed price including appetizer, first, second and sweet. Too bad there had been no mention of the existence of this menu. So for 2 pieces of salami, a piece of ham, a slice of cheese, a bit of panissa and a dish of pasta I paid 28 euros. Basically, experience to forget. Slow service, poor food and very high prices. Absolutely not recommended, if you want to eat in Pentema after seeing the beautiful crib better a sandwich at the refreshment point! As the lady said she complained to the managers, we won't stand anymore!
I have come here on the occasion of the crib with my family... to go back... to be at home... BEAUTIFUL to lick the mustache pork and wild boar from the mouth... What to say! It seems to be at lunch from the grandmother!!!! Very helpful staff and coertese! I'm glad there's still room like this!
We stayed on December 31 at lunch, invited by friends. The only restaurant in Pentema (I believe), a must-have stop but with a minimum of advance (without reservation it is almost impossible to find a place). From outside it does not seem a great deal, it is quite uneasy to get there (impossible with wheelchairs for disabled, tiring with strollers). The place is very small, 5 tables, type 20 total places in the hall on the floor of the entrance. the service is very spartan, the menu we did not have so I have no idea of the prices. Good food. We took appetizers (salumi, panissa, beans and chives), we tasted ravioli with garlic pesto and pasta with mushroom sauce, second roast and pork, potatoes, salad, panettone and canestrelli with zabaglione. I loved it. In the end they offered us the grappa, then the grass Luisa and the owners paused a bit to chat. For service, kindness, food, advice. It is still in a village not easily reachable so maybe going on purpose is not worth it. We were very well! Thank you!
