What 230sue doesn't like about The Old Farmhouse Kitchen And Tearoom:
Went here for afternoon tea which was very nice but maybe lacking sweet treats, had more savoury than sweet. Food was very good but waitress service and the lack of attention was not good. Would not re visit. Outside area rather dirty and untidy, I know this is a working farm but could be kept tidier in areas that customers are using. View all feedback. What a fabulous place, the tearoom came highly recommended by our hosts at The Little Silver House… his advice not to eat breakfast before the afternoon tea was spot on! Minestrone soup to start, Greek salad, sandwiches, sausage rolls and piles of cakes. This was our only meal of the day My advice is to call several days before to book ahead- we only just managed to get in on our last day in Devon View all feedback.

read moreA quaint tearoom located down a scenic but rough road, this establishment served a disappointingly overpriced afternoon tea with limited dairy-free options. Lack of internet connection was an issue, but the staff was friendly, and the food quality and service impressed another group. A family-friendly atmosphere included animals and outdoor activities, with tasty gluten-free options available. The homemade treats, comfortable surroundings, and attentive service left visitors planning their return, despite minor inconveniences. The tearoom's dedication to cleanliness and attention to detail, along with a charming environment and selection of items for purchase, make it a worthwhile destination.
