Menu

Here you will find the menu of Queen Anne's in Torridge. At the moment, there are 35 dishes and drinks on the menu.

Nestled by the river, this café presents a mix of experiences, boasting warm hospitality and a diverse menu, including homemade dishes and delightful baked goods. Patrons rave about the fresh ingredients and generous portions, with indulgent options like cream tea and scrumptious scones. However, inconsistencies in food quality, portion sizes, and service can overshadow these positives. While some diners find their meals delightful, others criticize the lack of identity in the menu and cold, soggy dishes. Despite mixed reviews, the friendly atmosphere and beautiful location leave many customers eager to return, particularly when basking in the sunshine on the lawn.

Was 322aicwhu322 at Queen Anne's a mag?
During a short visit to Barnstaple, we discovered this restaurant by chance and were thrilled that we did. We enjoyed two delicious sandwiches - my egg mayonnaise sandwich was outstanding, and my partner's bacon, brie, and cranberry toast was delightful. The staff was very friendly and the building, a beautiful old structure that has been modernized. If desired, guests can also sit outside by the river. View all feedback.

What wottaw dislikes about Queen Anne's:
It can't make its mind up: is it a cafe or tea room, restaurant or diner? It does fried breakfasts and cream team, fish specials and burgers and chips. Needs to sort out its identity and specialise. The food is good (not great) View all feedback.

This is the first time I had been into this iconic building in Barnstaple since I moved to the area over 39 years ago. My wife and I decided to have lunch here. We both chose the Fish Chowder with a warm bread roll. The chowder was made up with Cod, Haddock and Salmon and was absolutely full of fish. We each had a glass of wine to accompany the dish. Service is excellent, prices reasonable and the building itself full of old photographs of Barnstaple in olden days. Well recommended.

I enjoyed the sea-food chowder for lunch. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. There are two rooms available and the larger one has a play area for small children. There is also outside seating by the river.

Met with friends here for coffee. Very impressed with the coffee, staff were lovely and the tea rooms were comfy and spacious. Will definitely go here again. Next time for lunch!

When I visited it was a beautiful day, I sat outside, the food and service was excellent. I can recommend this place for a pleasant experience. Another thing noted by me was the spotless toilet, sometimes it's not the case.
