My wife and I decided to have lunch here.... read more This is the first time I had been into this iconic building in Barnstaple since I moved to the area over 39 years ago. My wife and I decided to have lunch here. We both chose the Fish Chowder with a warm bread roll. The chowder was made up with Cod, Haddock and Salmon and was absolutely full of fish. We each had a glass of wine to accompany the dish. Service is excellent, prices reasonable and the building itself full of old photographs of Barnstaple in olden days. Well recommended.

Another thing noted by me was the spotless toilet, sometimes it's not the case.
