A high ceilinged room with wine bottles and cases everywhere The owner was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the various local grapes and wine, we tried a few! The food was all local and prepared with care, as we walked in to the dining room, there was a glass case of fresh caught fish on ice that showcased the evenings specials. We tried the crispy fried mackerel sprats and the Piemento de Padrones fresh from the sea and the garden, it was a great start. Simply grilled fish and salads followed topped by a stunning dessert of homemade perfectly set Panna cotta topped with a reduction of sweet tomatoes thick and intense It's worthy of another visit!

Best food and wine experience we've had in Portugal, excellent quality fresh ingredients, traditional dishes, warm welcome, lovely conversations with Rui the owner. Bernardo his son is a world class chef. 5 star experience all round. We will be back for sure as this experience is unique, peaceful and good for the mind body and soul.
