Beef and potatoes... read more Had dinner with friend in Garufa. It had already been informed that one of the most expensive restaurants, so high prices did not surprise us. Beef and potatoes ordered as ancillary dishes. File mignon was very nice, juicy and soft but Sirloin was bad quality, hard and wiry. Doesn't seem marinated. The staff is friendly but not very professional. Total price for 2 steaks, 2 supplements and 2 beers was 950 pesos. We left 70 pesos as a tip (Propina). Your surprise comes... Waiter comes with receipt and 20 pesos, complain that lace is not enough. He expects 50 Pesos extra instead of 20 because we do not leave tip for kitchen staff, only for waiters. Really bad surprise... Should we also provide tips for cleaners, safety, suppliers? I'm sure we'll never come back here, give him a lesson. I took the 20 from the table and we left the restaurant. Now must be satisfied with 50 if not satisfied with 70 Pesos overall tip.
