Mimi's Cafe - Torrance

I would have given this restaurant a 5-star rating if the service had been as good as the food. We visited around 3 in the afternoon and found the service to be below average. Both my partner and I have experience in the hospitality industry, so we understand some of the challenges that can affect service. Despite this, we are willing to give the restaurant another chance for dinner.

The staff at this restaurant, including the waitress, cook, and manager, was absolutely terrible. Our Mother's Day brunch was a complete disaster. The "Tomato soup" tasted like nothing but ugly Tabasco sauce. Our drinks and desserts were forgotten, and we were hardly acknowledged throughout our visit. There were no accommodations made, and to top it off, they couldn't find our bill at the end and argued with us about our order.

The coffee was cold and the breakfast was bland and unappetizing.

The first time here, with breakfast. so good. my server is great. her name is saudi. very friendly and so nice. I'll come back to have an breakfast!

The meat was undercooked and full of layered fat and grissle. The cabbage, potatoes and carrots were undercooked and chewy. We each had the same experience. Obviously a no care kitchen.
