I don 't remember going to this location before, as I 've gone to the one on Hawthorne, Pacific Coast Highway, and Redondo Beach Blvd (or maybe they were the Back Home at Lahaina branded associated Loft family of restaurants).This location in 2023 is Counter Service, and the dining area is kinda dark and dingy, not really with the whole Aloha spirit in decor or atmosphere. The service provider was, I think, Hispanic, so not the typical Polynesian Hawaiian Asian Islander type of staff you 'd stereotypically expect.Regardless of logistics and aesthetics, it 's down and dirty, hole in the wall, comfort food and good eats overallThe service as fast and friendly, no frills. Parking is easy in the parking lot.I 'd say this is the type of place you 'd take your wife of many years or family, more so than a night on the town date night experience. It 's a reliable known quality type place.
