What SUSHOVAN DASGUPTA doesn't like about Utsav Indian Cuisine:
this is probably one of the poorest Biriyanis I have tried thus far. It pales in comparison to some of the other Biriyanis locally available, and I’m not even talking about the real thing one gets in India. View all feedback.
Tried this new place out. We had the all you can eat lunch special. There were definitely some pros/cons.The pros were: excellent food (especially the butter chicken), great naan! Price was reasonable at $19 per person. Easy to park with no extra cost. Dessert was good but they only had a fruit salad NO sweet rice or NO gulab jamun (which I normally looooove to eat at other Indian restaurants). Good service, the waiter was kind.The cons: the atmosphere could have been more upbeat, it was very quiet (no music playing), they ran out of the dish we loved so we had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes before they brought more out and the rice was limited; I think we could have asked for more but we ended up just using what they gave us.
Food was delicious. Plenty of vegetarian and meat dishes. Service was friendly and fast.
The buffet is the best, most delicious deal in town. Highly recommend.
Always good, my son from Northern CA and I go when he visits.
The buffet was delicious. They have a lot of dishes to choose from and they were all tasty. Everything was fresh. We will definitely be back!
