The Pantry - Torquay

This is a great little cafe with lovely friendly staff and wonderful food. I had a delicious vegetarian burger in a crusty sweet bun with a latte and my partner the eggs and bacon on sourdough. It was all so very tasty and the presentation spot on for a tiny seaside town.Nothing was a trouble. It took approx 15min to get our meal however as they were very busy with the cafe full at the time. We were offered water as soon as we took a seat and our order was taken straight after.The lady completing the orders in the kitchen did an amazing job. As far as I could see she was doing most of it by herself and the younger staff were tending to the tables and customers'Our total bill was $32 but I would say well worth it and it is certainly a place I would return to. The cafe and seating is quite large and well set out with several tables out along the footpath. The decor is modern and fresh looking and the bonus was the aircon was cranked up so it made it very nice to sit and take your time while enjoying such a lovely meal on what was a very hot day. It is also easy for parking with the supermarket carpark across the street or in our case a park right iat the front door and very easy for people with disabilities as there are no steps at all

We came down from Melbourne, on our way to Lorne, and stopped in for brunch at the new look cafe. I had a delicious vegetarian breakfast salad that was amazing, my partner had traditional scrambled eggs with all the trimmings. Both were above expectations.Coffee was good, as was the tea, and the staff are friendly and efficient. I wish them well and we will certainly be back for more!

Relaxed atmosphere,lovely food ,great coffee,beautiful owners /staff plenty of local newspapers to read. Love sitting in armchairs looking at glowing fire place while having coffee with friends.

I really like this place. Right across from the supermarket so you can recharge before battling the shelves. Great selection of dine in and take away options - not super extensive but delicious and fresh and enough choice. All day dining allows you to come in for breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea. Nice modern fitout and very open and airy.

I work regularly in Torquay , and having tried a few different establishments, I regularly return here because I'm a happy customer. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food top notch and well priced. $15 buys a full breakfast. The staff are always friendly and I'm happy to recommend this place to anyone.
