Kids enjo... read more So refreshing to have salads with fish and chips. We sat outside in the sun. Quick and friendly service. Delicious, fresh fish and tasty fresh salads. Kids enjoyed calamari and chips. Definitely recommend.

Chose the gemf... read more Stopped off for lunch on the way to Lorne. Waitress was polite and asked if we had been here before and explained the specials and how to order . Chose the gemfish and partner the gummy shark tempura style and two local white wines . Food came out very very fast and the tempura fish was perfectly done and the skin on fries just as good . Asked for sauces and the packets were supplied free . Great place to stop on the coast for fish and chips .

Group of 4 adults,... read more Really nice food, friendly staff, great setting with kids a little pricey, but wasn't expecting cheap and nasty with beach views in Torquay! Group of 4 adults, 4 kids got Cosy Corner pack, fennel chilli school prawns and 4 fish tacos for the grown ups was enough food without feeling like we'd had too much. Chips hand cut, so funky shaped and colour but delicious, calamari was great, fish taco with ceviche gummy was brilliant, school prawns were great to (and the kids were too grossed out, so more for the grown ups). Pea salad a little heavy on onion, but was a good filler. Not the place if you're on a budget, but I'm really happy we went (and great sound track too, and the kids sand pit and black board gave us great grown ups catch up time)

I can honestly say that the Flake was the best I have ever had in 29 years of my life! I will be back recommending to everyone. Thank you to the friendly staff especially the male waiter helping us select our meals.
