Subway - Torquay

The staff was fast and helpful and the food was excellent. It is just like the Subway in the states with bread choices, hot and cold sandwich to chose from.

Our entire family love subway. However this store was a real let down. we will not return.extremly rude staff and only put half of the normal subway fillings.

We recently attended the Torquay Subway restaurant. Four adults and two kids. We were very impressed with the way the girls behind the counter quickly attended to all of the customers, at least 20. We thought we would be in the line for ages but they were very organised and cleared the shop very quickly. They then proceeded to straighten up and clear the tables. I know this should be the norm but so often take-away restaurants are left untidy and dirty. Well done girls!

We actually wanted to stop by for a quick breakfast, but the employees here probably didn't want to work. Without paying any attention to you, you stood behind the counter and at some point "ordered" the other colleague who accepted our requests. She was literally reprimanded by her colleague - she had put a slice of ham on too much and had to scrape it down again after toasting and dispose of it - I had never experienced that before. The climax came, however, when they wanted to charge us two individual subs for a footlong of the same variety, just because one ingredient should be left out (!) On one side, which is never a problem with Subway. Well - that's the way to throw it away in the garbage instead of selling it as a normal footlong.
