This delightful chippy was fantastic, brilliant, and tasted amazing during my first visit. The freshly prepared Haddock was cooked to perfection, as were the chips and mushy peas that accompanied it. The shop staff were very helpful in suggesting various meal deals, which also saved me money on the already reasonably priced menu. I am already planning my next visit, just wish I lived closer. The fish and chips at this restaurant are a classic dish, served in paper. The fish may not be the largest, but it is certainly the best fish and chips I have ever had.
This was a fantastic, brilliant, and amazing dining experience. It was my first time visiting this delightful fish and chip shop. The freshly cooked haddock was perfectly boiled, paired with delicious chips and mushy peas that all tasted great together. The friendly staff were also very accommodating and helped me navigate the menu options, which were already very reasonably priced. I can't wait to plan my next visit, I just wish it was closer to me.
The food at Chipmates is absolutely delicious. I would choose their fish and chips over dining at The View Restaurant any day, even if I were on a date with Helen Mirren. The delivery woman is exceptional as well, so make sure to give her a generous tip. I recently had a pizza and the toppings were so generous and tasty that my hat actually flew off - I have video evidence to prove it. You should definitely dine at Chipmates.
I ordered from here for the first time today. It is very convenient to be able to order online and go to the shop and collect rather than waiting and queuing. Warm friendly service. The fried chicken I had was delicious better than a famous kentucky fried restaurant in fact. The portions are very generous and it's not too expensive either. I will definitely order from here again.
