This is my favorite spot! I adore their pho and have only returned once since the renovation, as I've moved out of Toronto. We used to visit so frequently that one of the staff members recognized us and has always treated us wonderfully from the start. My go-to dishes are pho 101 and the vermicelli with grilled pork, pork balls, and spring roll (#303). So delicious! I definitely recommend this place! View all feedback.

I really love this pho restaurant! They have plenty of meat, delicious broth, and friendly staff. Besides the pho, I highly recommend trying the chicken with rice. You won't be disappointed!

Whether you want something to eat with your family or you and your friends are hungry from a night of clubbing, I suggest coming here! Take caution with their rice noodle dishes, but since they are still around I guess most people don’t mind it.
This place is okay for late-night, drunken meals. The pho is decent, but I really enjoy the bun and their minced shrimp on sugarcane! I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

Me and friends visited this restaurant about 2 weeks ago. Not many restaurant around was open early in the morning (10AM so my friends chose this. The second we walked upstairs, we were welcome by a very heavy smell of bleach. Asians restaurant tend to do this, using bleach in their cleaning. But can't they do this at closing time the night before? (and some Asian places I been to before clean with bleach before closing time with customers still eating too. A friend of mine got so sick of it she swore she would never come back. We were hungy, so decided to stay. I was hoping when the food came its smell would help. But no. And that was 1 of the most blend Pho I've ever had. Service didn't help either :
We have been coming to this place for over ten years. Found it while we lived in North York, because the food is PRETTY good. Everytime we have a way to Toronto we stop here for lunch or dinner on the way home to Ajax. I was super pumped to go there today and now driving home to Ajax I am very disappointed. Food was VERY good as always but the service, please give me a break! Not saying hi to us when we arrived, i got used to that. We got our bean sprouts for soups and a large order of rice, thinking she will bring us plates so we can share, she didnt. I keep looking at her and waiting for the plates, meanwhile the rice was getting cold, but she took her time to finish her cutlery. We got our plates, we got our soups and then my husband found a loooong strand of dark hair in the bean sprouts which I almost puked but he played cool and didn’t want to make a scene! We finished our dinner and didn’t find more hair, thank goodness.. It was time for a shake with tapioca to go. The gentleman at the cash service station was very nice and understandable and we thought he will make it ... our server goes behind the bar and she starts making the shakes ... I wanted to make sure we wouldn’t have any hair in the shake so I told her, please make sure there is no hair. So we’re waiting and waiting ... first she comes with no tapioca ... the gentleman sent her back to fix it and then she comes to us and its in the glass??? And the attitude, she acts like its our fault! So guess what, no tip. When she saw it, not even sorry for the hair, not even have a great night .. it was just a quick turn back to her cutlery. I have been a server for a very long time and trust me, I understand all the girls dealing with customers and its not fun sometimes. Honey, honesty you are in the wrong industry, if you can’t say hi, or maybe show a little smile or just say thank you... and yes, she had long dark hair ... i dont think it was a cook from the kitchen. Just driving home to Ajax, I am very unhappy with my day off.
If you are looking for a delicious, warm and spicy food (which is my liking), you are here for it ... I have been wanting to try a Vietnamese food and I am very pleased that this was a starter for me to get introduced to the cuisine.
Excellent food and fast service. Delicious and affordable, The mango juice was superb and the noodles at the perfect point. Wonderful salad with the fried octopus and the price is lower than a big mac.Strongly recommend and I hope to be back soon
The place is basically a big room with tables, brightly lit. The menu is typical vietnamese. I recommended for a meal that will leave you satisfied and your wallet lightly dented. Service is efficient with of course no addition other than putting the food on your table and cleaning up. We ordered shrimp rolls to start (normal and good) followed by two satay noodle dishes (beef and pork), which is a more viscous broth than the typical Pho. Spicy and good. The other dishes were a curry chicken vermicelli and pho. Also, solid food as you can expect I will go back for a quick and satisfying meal while around Spadina. No hesitation

The Bun Bo Hue is good I didn't feel like they skimped on the meat -there was lots!.The vermicelli with the spring rolls and red Vietnamese meat was good. There was lots of taro in the crispy springroll -like there should be!I would definitely return. Waitress girl was a little ....either clueless or had attitude although it wasn't busy at all. But she was normal afterwards.
I come here once couple weeks to satisfy my pho craving. I was brought here by my Vietnamese coworker and I really enjoy their pho. They have a good balance of meat portion, size, and taste.
We went for lunch and I had a 509 plate. Chicken was good and the plate was huge but not much shrimp. The soup dishes are also huge so I recommend getting a small soup as it is enough to fill the average person. Staff friendliness was just so-so and the bathroom were not very clean. Other than that, food is good and there is lots of it.

However they served our food quite fast since there were just a handful of customers when we went there on a Sunday for early dinner. This restaurant is sandwiched between two other Asian restaurants along Spadina street just across the Toronto Trolley station right at the very centre of Chinatown. Their washrooms and floor were a bit dirty and nobody among the staff were trying to clean it since they were all standing near the door waiting for customers to order or have their food delivered to their tables. The food and service is just OK but not excellent.
