Highlights of the night included the exceptionally iced latte martini—light, creamy, and sweet, reminiscent of an alcoholic iced cappuccino. The oysters were fresh and sweet, while the grilled calamari stood out as the star of the evening, perfectly tender with a delightful grilled flavor. On the downside, the Korean fried chicken tasted more like sesame chicken; it wasn't bad, but it was mediocre overall. It was disappointing since we had been looking forward to dining at Writers Room for some time. The drinks were decent, but the views were absolutely breathtaking. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $50–60.
