I work in the area and this place is one of my go to places for a quick lunch. The special is quite large and very fairly priced. German home style cooking at it's best! There is not a lot of seating available as this is more of a lunch counter in the rear of an ethnic supermarket but if you like German food and want take out this is the place for you. They have fantastic daily specials , great red cabbage, sauerkrau... View all feedback.
What Secreto Fem doesn't like about Vienna Fine Foods:
I am giving it a low rating not because the service and food are not good, but because the pork schnitzel sandwich is now $7.95 with no side included. I find this price too expensive for the portion size. View all feedback.
European flavour so attractive and delicious. From appetisers to desert the European character of the restaurant and its marvelous food jumps out. Cheers.

There is not a lot of seating available as this is more of a lunch counter in the rear of an ethnic supermarket but if you like German food and want take out this is the place for you. They have fantastic daily specials , great red cabbage, sauerkraut and a very good goulash as well. You can also purchase items like traditional sausages in the grocery portion of the store. This place will always be on my local favourites list for a weekday lunch.
My wife and I have been here a few times in the past year.Their lunch specials bring us back time and again, while their schnitzel-on-a-bun is a must-have for anyone there for the first time.Daily lunch specials keep things interesting - I had melt-off-the-bone ribs with the best scalloped potatoes for lunch (which also came with a generous heap of buttered/steamed carrots and peas). If you just want to shop, you can buy a wide variety of cheeses, breads (including pretzels,) and European groceries.First came here with my Dad back when I was on my first summer job over a decade ago - with this level of quality, value, and character, this place deserves to be here for many decades more!
There are very few eateries left in Toronto that combine home-made meals plus mostly authentic ethnic supermarket items at a fair price. Vienna is one of those rare spots. You can sit in for a casual lunch and enjoy a daily special before purchasing a bagful of foods to take home. From Croatian honey to tasty cakes made with cream to house specialty Vienna broil meats, there is a good variety here. Located in suburban Scarborough, not downtown. If using TTC public transit, take the no. 17 Birchmount bus from Warden station and ask to get off at Bertrand avenue (about a a 40 min. trip from downtown.) I am done. The end.
It is a store first with a food counter and bistro style sitting at the back. Great choice of authentic German deli, sweets, etc. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Traditional German food is good too.Right now, before Christmas, you can find a variety of traditional fare at decent prices.
