The restaurant offers a lovely atmosphere with good service and a great wine list. The pizzas and ravioli are highly recommended, while dishes like the Caesar salad, pickled veggies, and olives were not up to par. Some diners experienced slow service, particularly on a Saturday night. The dinner menu was praised for its tastiness and excellent service, but the brunch menu fell short in quality and temperature. The wood-fired pizzas are a standout, and the international twist on certain dishes adds an interesting touch. While some dishes were excellent, such as the Caesar salad and pork belly addition, others like the octopus and cappuccino fell short. Overall, the restaurant is recommended for a perfect summer night with great service and good drinks. Prices are reasonable for Toronto dining. A must-visit for a quick drink and delicious appetizers during happy hour. Guests were impressed with the attentive service and excellent quality dishes, making it a great choice for a meal near the concert hall.

Was Kelsi Mann at The Peasant Table a mag?
Had my birthday dinner here and it was yum. They have a wood fired oven and they do have a back patio that I'm hoping to check out next time. I had their pizza, a fig and honey one with brussel sprouts, it was delicious!!...Looking forward to trying more of their dishes. View all feedback.
What Lucie Davis dislikes about The Peasant Table:
I ordered the breakfast sandwich and the egg on it was raw and undercooked. The sandwich also had an off putting taste although I don’t know what ingredient it was. Salad had no dressing on it. First time eating here and it will be the...last time. View all feedback.

I came here for the northern Italian tasting I'm giving this place 2 stars because I found their staff is arrogant and unpleasant.
Stumbled across this place when the original intended brunch location had a lineup out the door and around the corner.
I really wanted to love this restaurant. The ambiance was fantastic, the menu was impressive, and the server was delightful. The food ranged from good to very good. The Caesar salad dressing was delicious, and the pork belly addition was exceptional. Both pizzas were unique and tasty. The hamburger and fries were reportedly excellent. However, the octopus was overcooked, although the dish itself was still delicious. Unfortunately, my cappuccino was a disappointment - it was milky, weak, and lacked foam, not resembling a cappuccino at all. The service was also slow, with a long wait before our salad was served, and meals not arriving together. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, but there are definitely areas that could be improved to make it truly excellent.
