Was Anonym at The One Eighty a mag?

We finished our anniversary evening with a drink at The One Eighty to watch the sunset. Very magical experience if you're sitting on the north terrace. We shared some great food and had some drinks. Very enjoyable. Note: If you're sitting by the railing, be prepared for patrons taking pictures of themselves with the sunset in the background. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The One Eighty:

One of the most expensive brunch buffets in the city. Nice view. Lousy food. Small selection poorly presented. Over cooked unseasoned omelet delivered while guestsmake their own toast! View all feedback.

The food and service was fine, view amazing...but I was called twice to confirm reservation and texted. I was told that if I was 10 minutes late reservation given away. we arrived 20 minutes early and were asked to return back to ground level as restaurant not open til 5. restaurant completely empty. we returned at a few minutes to 5pm and were told that no one would serve us for the first 3 minutes as the restaurant didn't open until 5. the restaurant was not busy...only 5 tables the entire time occupied. we were also told that we could stay 90 minutes and to leave at 630.

The view was beautiful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I loved their choice of drinks very much. I had a burger and a pizza with my friend and they were delicious. I give 4 starts because I found the pizza a bit on the saltier side and the burger was good but not the best I have had. Also, the fries were average. I think less fries with higher quality will definitely do better. Overall good experience.

Well I wish I could have given this a proper review. The restaurant, which had been booked in early 2021, CANCELLED on my daughter’s September 2022 wedding in February of this year. Very unprofessional to leave a bride in the lurch with so few options left!! Beware! The wedding venue information is still on the website. I would think twice before booking anything major like this here.

It takes some effort to navigate your way up to the 51st floor from the parking level, but once you arrive, the atmosphere is pleasant. I wished my risotto had a larger portion considering the price. The steak dinner looked appetizing, but for the price, it was just okay. However, the stunning city views make it worth the visit.

We came here in June of 2020, just after the first wave of COVID. We were desperate to have a sense of normalcy so we made the spontaneous decision of going to The One Eighty. Let me tell you best decision ever. The location of the actual restaurant was a little difficult to locate since the elevators merged in other elevators, with no visible signage saying it would take us to The One Eighty. The drinks were spectacular, especially the lychee royal. The aesthetic and flavour of it was beyond my expectations. The ahi tuna tartar and the brioche bread sold us on coming back here, as well as the steak and burger. Basically everything. However, what was a true gem was the tiramisu and death by chocolate MERGED. Each bite out of each dessert was decadent. The views, the food, the service, would be undeniably top tier.

The One Eighty, located on the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre, has great views overlooking the city. There are patio seatings, but the patio area was closed when we went due to inclement weather. The interior is pretty nice and service was pretty good during our visit. The food was pretty good but nothing extraordinary. All dishes were plated beautifully. We came for a birthday party celebration, and they provided cake cutting service free of charge (usually restaurants would charge a cake cutting fee per person), which was nice of them.Review of some of the dishes:Charred Citrus and Arugula Salad with Beet Hummus, Sumac Spiced Pita Chips, and Crispy Shallots Very colourful and plated very nicely. The citrus (orange and grapefruit) slices were very refreshing and a great complement for the slightly bitter arugula.Whole Roasted Branzino with Potatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Fennel, and Caper Butter Crispy fish skin on the outside, with soft and tender fish meat inside. The cherry tomatoes added juiciness and tartness to the dish. Sauce was pretty good.Truffle Gnocchi with Burrata and Wild Mushrooms Pretty rich and the sauce was more soupy than expected. There was a big dollop of burrata on top, and more shaved cheese in the dish with the gnocchi.

They have Halal chicken and they can make drinks from the menu without alcohol. That was a big plus. The food was fresh and delicious. Her vegetarian pizza was also very good. Our reservation has been cancelled since we came too late, but they still managed to find places for us. And we changed our table three times for a better view. The view is breathtaking and it looks so much better from the sunset side of the restaurant. Also within the place is very cozy and not loud, in the evening they glow candles on the tables and the lighting is really good. By Covid you can't walk around and see the view so to get the view, it's better to sit outside. The service was great. We enjoyed our time there. Thanks to the staff!

Nice friendly and helpful staff. Good food and good views. They canceled my booking because I was 40 minutes late. Hard to find parking also, but the restaurant is good. You step through the Manulife Center Buddha and this is challenging to find

The restaurant provides a beautiful view of the city. On a clear night you can look at the beautiful toronto skyline while enjoying the delicious food. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Although they offer a small menu but the dishes were delicious. We tried : Arancini Italian deep fried rice balls) Ahi Tuna tartare Truffle mushroom risotto Herb roasted half chicken Death by chocolate Drinks: Cranberry mule Pucker up Pina colada Everything tasted great but I would request them to add a few more halal options on the menu. They also offer cocktails without alcohol. Would love to go back for another romantic dinner.

The One Eighty is absolutely fabulous! The view, the food and the service.. enjoyed the whole experience. Pricing was fair too not over priced for the view. You are welcome to see the view from either balcony for those selfies and breathtaking Toronto views if eating inside. We walked in without a reservation and were seating quickly.

I usually never write reviews, but I think that's necessary! Not only was this a beautiful view, great food drinks, but the hostess and waitress were an absolute pleasure. Our waitress was Gabriela and she was just the best waitress my friend and I ever had! If you are looking for a less busy night for photos, we went on Tuesday! Will definitely be back!

I wish I could have given this a proper review. The restaurant that was booked at the beginning of 2021, CANCELLED at the wedding of my daughter September 2022 in February this year. Very unprofessional to leave a bride in the veranda with so few options...left!! Be careful! The information about the wedding venue is still on the website. I'd think twice before I book something important like this.

We were very disappointed with everything. Meals, service and view. The meals were not satisfactory for the price paid by the server did not know his menu, and was “dyssynchronized” all dinners long (for example he asked if we wanted wine while we were already... half of our plates). And honestly, the view is not as “magical and wonderful” as we expected. Yes, you can see the CN Tour, but the ambience is far from a luxury square. We do not recommend this restaurant.

Last Sunday had a terrible experience. My buddy friend wanted to surprise him with this experience, I think mainly because of the view. We come to HOST booth had our reservation, but would not put us on the terrace. Hostess said they were all reserved.... After we noticed the most terrace tables empty in the dining room. But not biggie. We wait 20 minutes before we even get closer to our server. She apologized, but didn't give us any explanation about the menu, she took our drink and water order. Sparkling water comes to table of 4 only enough in the bottle for 3. My buddy, this surprise is for a water sprayer. Promising a return with more water. The return has never happened. Our beverage order was taken and apps. Other 20 minutes later drinks come with Walmart quality Brioche bread. Except my drink that was just coffee, it never made it on the table. The ladies at our party wanted some photos, so we go to the terrace to take photos. Soon after we were addressed by an employee because a person in our party went out to the terrace without wearing their mask when leaving table. She has a lecture, even after the apology. We decide to go. After talking to Host, the manager was released. Anthony the manager was the same person who talked to us about going to the terrace without masking. Here it will be my WORST experience. Anthony never asks us why we left. We have to explain that we have to pay for what we have spent. His words. That was a piece of bread. No one at the table consumed their drinks. The bread was $20. We paid and still no excuse, only the apology we got was from our server. She knows the place is terrible. Feel bad for the staff with an anger like Anthony. So, my suggestion, get the tap water. Take a picture and bounce. Oh, and avoid Anthony.

I came here for my friend's birthday. We arrived on time and the staff brought us to the table quickly. Sa on the view less side where we could not stand and take photos. He had the chicken, I had the gnocchi. Both were decent. There was no birthday confirmation, but we saw another table that received a kind of birthday contract. I then mentioned the birthday at our table to the server, but nothing was offered.

We came with my friend to celebrate her birthday. It was a terrible experience. We did not get the side of the restaurant with a view. The girl who met us said that she will give us a table on the other side with no...view at all only till 7.45pm. We came at 6.30 pm. We agreed but the birthday spirit was not the same any more. Waitresses were all over us all the time they said we cannot even stand up to take a picture. What??? What is the point of a restaurant with a view, if you cannot stand up to see the view. This is ridiculous. The service was slow. The food was delivered at 7.45pm the time we were supposed to give up our table outside. The menu was not interesting at all. Their best dish, the server recommended, was pizza. Seriously???? When you come to the restaurant which requires strict business attire, you do not expect to eat pizza. I do not recommend this restaurant: plates are not nice, classes from dollar store. They did not clean the table regularly, so we can enjoy a nice dinner. No compliments to a birthday girl. Very frustrating. BTW the bill was $170 CAD. Way too expensive for such experience.
