I ordered the summer special, which was steak and half lobster. I would recommend not wearing white to avoid getting lobster juice on your clothes. The food was delicious, and they provided warm butter for the lobster by placing it over a candle. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare, although it was slightly chewy. I frequently visit The Keg and have always had good experiences. On my last visit, I ordered my steak medium rare and my guest ordered medium well. However, as I was eating, I noticed that my steak wasn't cooked to my liking. We asked our waiter to compare our steaks and he confirmed that mine was actually medium well. We chose to have our last dinner here in The Keg during our visit in Ontario Canada. And we made the right choice. <br/ <br/ The place is near in Toronto Pearson International airport and lots of hotels nearby. Their branch in Dixon Road is huge that we even had difficulty in finding the entrance. The food is really good and their staff is very pleasant and accommodating. I really recommend this place specially for those tourist like us who wants to try a Canadian restaurant. Travel and eat like the locals.<br/ <br/
The Keg is good. Not great, but good. For the price I think you can do much better though. But for reasonable quality and the expected consistency of a chain, there's The Keg.
I came here for lunch during the week for work. It’s an older location but service was great and so was the food. I find the food was consistent every time I visit the Keg. I had the Teriyaki steak with a garden salad, also came with a bit of grilled veggies on the side. Steak was perfect with almost no fat which I always love about the Keg.
This restaurant is the go-to spot for steak lovers. They maintain a consistent standard throughout the country. Their stuffed baked potato is absolutely delicious. I can't resist indulging in red meat when I dine here. It's a great option for couples as well.
