Was User at The Drift a mag?
Drift is, without a doubt, the best bar and eatery I have visited in recent years. Let's start with the impressive selection of wine and beer, all at affordable prices. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and made fantastic recommendations. The food was equally impressive and left us both thoroughly satisfied. I highly recommend Drift to anyone seeking a laid-back atmosphere with great music, excellent service,... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about The Drift:
I will return to Drift. The dishes were yummy: really good fish tacos, tasty and original arugula salad, a wonderful carrot butter with the fish. The choice of microbrewery drafts, bottles, cocktails was amazing. The only disappointment, and it was significant, was the swapping out of farmed salmon for the wild salmon advertised on the menu. Anyone who only eats wild salmon could not miss this misdemeanor. View all feedback.

While in the vicinity, we asked a friend for a dining recommendation and they pointed us towards The Drift. Despite initial hesitations due to its exterior, we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the food, from appetizers to main courses (particularly the fish and bison options) to the desserts. The service was top-notch and the wine list was affordable. Although we don't live nearby, we plan on returning with friends. One thing to note is that the restaurant started off quiet, but as it filled up, it became quite noisy.
Love the food and the atmosphere!! I have tried the burgers, fish tacos, brussels sprouts, beet and goat cheese salad... can't wait to try more!! Great selection of beer and wine. Cocktails too! My go to for a great meal right after work.
Amazing fishing store: great variety of fishing equipment, fly-tying supplies and gear available.
We come to this place a lot because they do what they do very well. Service is friendly but not too servey and not too cool. My wife and I have eaten pretty well everything on the menu and its always at least good. Sometimes its great. The wine suggested is very good. They have 6-7-8? local interesting beers on tap and many more in the bottle/can.Currently they have an excellent prix fixe before 7:00 that is excellent value. I loved the bison bavette --incredibly savory sauce one time and delicious chimichurri another.Tonight we had the pork two ways and halibut with foraged mushrooms: the latter being incredibly generous with many unusual wild mushrooms. Both were very delicious. Oh and don't get the dessert because you will love it and eat too much like we just did!!
