I just had the best burger in TO, and it was in this lovely restaurant with a patio, I had a salad instead of the fries, they do charge you for the exchange (weird), the salad was very light and green, the burger, I ordered medium rare, it melted in my mouth, the milk bun looks very fluffy, but as soon as you bite in to it you see it is very light, and delicious. What User doesn't like about The Drake Hotel:
We decided to do the pre fixe menu for Valentine's Day, but should've decided on something else, maybe. The main course was cold, the soup had no texture to it and felt like I was forcing myself to drink straight cream, and the only exciting thing about the night were the drinks. We were seated in the middle of the aisle which was a bit awkward and cold throughout our dinner. The chairs were not very comfortable either. However, the manager went above and beyond to make things right when he couldn't find the flower balloon I had ordered online. He offered us a free drink and gave us two roses from the restaurant, which was a very kind gesture. Additionally, they had a poet write a personalized poem about our love story and a photo booth set up for added entertainment.
The restaurant has a great ambiance. It is a good location for a business lunch. I never feel rushed, staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is amazing.
Love this place but been having a hard time finding a dish I like. I think menú needs a refresh! Service and ambiance always great
We made a reservation on a Friday night and didn’t know the main restaurant bar would be closed for a private event so had to sit in the cafeteria which was not the vibe we were looking for, so that was a let down. Would have booked another restaurant if we knew. Food was nothing special.
I didn't like being seated upstairs and not in the dining room without a warning at the time of booking. I would have made a different booking had I known that.
