Was User at Terrazza a mag?
My wife and I were exploring the downtown area and stumbled upon this location. It has a great outdoor terrace area that you can dine at. But we chose to sit in the dining room. It's not a big place but very cozy and well set up. The main dining area also has a garage door that opens it up to the outside. Brilliant for a nice night. All of the dishes were tasty and well prepared. We ended having a few bottles of exce... View all feedback.
To celebrate my birthday and our 15th anniversary, Gord and I had supper at Terrazza.<br/ <br/ When I moved to Toronto 30 years ago, I lived a block away from this restaurant. Back then, though, it was a burger place called Lips. For $5, you could get a burger, fries and pop. It was a great deal and good food! I moved away from the neighbourhood and didn't go back again. It's on my route to work. I saw it had changed styles and put it on my list of places to go. It turns out the place is back in the family.<br/ <br/ Our server started us off with warm bread. Yum! It was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. They usually serve it with olives but Gord's allergic to olives.<br/ <br/ Gord ordered Spinach Pesto pasta and added chicken. He said it was really good and he'd get it again. He ended up taking some home.<br/ <br/ I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and sliced tomatoes. It was a really good pizza. The dough was soft and chewy. It was cheesy and there was lots of pepperoni and tomatoes. It tasted garlicy, which I liked. I too took some home.<br/ <br/ I felt like something sweet ... and it is my birthday after all ... so I ordered Homemade Chocolate Cake. Gord had the berries, a bit of ice cream and a bit of cake. Yes, I ate the rest. It was good ... definitely hit the spot for sweetness.<br/ <br/ Our servers were friendly. We'll be back!
I recently enjoyed a delicious meal with friends at this charming hidden gem in Little Italy. We all tried the tomato pasta with shrimp and found it to be simply delicious. The restaurant's interior is cozy and inviting, with a faux fireplace adding to the ambience. The size of the restaurant is just right - small enough to feel personable, but not so small that you feel cramped. Overall, a fantastic spot to dine!
Great spot. I have been intrigued by Terrazza for quite some time. The patio looks so inviting and always when I pass by the place looks popular..but could never remember their name.<br/ <br/ From the moment I walked in, the aroma of olives created instant hunger...I needed to be there!! Went in on a Friday and the place was packed. Luckily there was room for two at the bar. Ordered our drinks and a pizza and had some complimentary olives and bread as we waited. The servers were friendly and fun. We had the opportunity to talk with the owner who was young, down to earth and extraordinarily passionate about his business. The pizza was good as expected...simply done..thin crust with good flavor<br/ <br/ Would I go back? Absolutely. The service and atmosphere of Terrazza was the highlight. I can see this being a local gem because the family feel and cozy nature of the restaurant would make anyone come back. The name of the restaurant may not be memorable to me but the place definitely is. Well Done!
The food was great but the service was horrible. I will go again but I hope I don't get the same waitress.
The service was excellent. We were greeted by our server as soon as we entered, as well as a couple of off duty staff. Our server was very attentive throughout the meal, checking on us twice and being engaging but not bothersome. The staff were polite and efficient, and even the cook said goodbye to us when we left. For food, we ordered a spinach pesto pizza with sauteed mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, and a spinach salad with feta, red onions, tomatoes, watermelon, and balsamic vinaigrette. We had never tried these items before and were pleasantly surprised at how well they tasted together. The pizza was delicious and not too salty, although the complimentary bread was a bit hard. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy, with low ambient lighting and spotlights that created a comfortable aesthetic. It would be perfect for couples looking for a romantic dinner. We were satisfied with the portion sizes and decided to skip the coffee cake, saving it for next time. Overall, we had a great experience at Terrazza and will definitely be returning in the future.
