Sushi Zone - Toronto
Sushi Zone
Description
The restaurant offers delicious food at an affordable price. While some diners have noted inconsistencies in menu items and portion sizes, the sushi is generally fresh and tasty. The service is friendly, with some customers receiving complimentary items like spring rolls. The cozy atmosphere and convenient location near Davisville Subway add to the appeal. Some dishes lack seasoning or flavor, and there have been issues with communication and special requests being ignored. Overall, it is a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal, though not without its flaws. Would recommend for those looking for a budget-friendly sushi option.

We frequently order from here and we adore it! The portions of fish are very generous, which is why we keep returning. I would suggest that the restaurant correct some of the dishes on DoorDash, as the titles do not match the descriptions in some cases (such as the Tuna Avocado Roll (8pcs) which says it has salmon and cream cheese but it doesn't). The only downside is that none of the spicy rolls are actually spicy, not even slightly, so be aware of that!
To start, the portions at this restaurant are extremely generous, earning it a 4 out of 5 rating. However, the quality could have been improved as the ribs were too chewy. The spider rolls did not live up to their advertised description, but overall it was a decent experience. The food was neatly packaged.
The rice was fresh but lacked seasoning, and some sushi items arrived warm, which was unusual. The fish was fresh and well sliced, but overall everything lacked flavor. The miso soup was just broth, without tofu or wakame. Additional notes and requests were ignored or not responded to. The wasabi had a good kick, which was a positive. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone with allergies due to the lack of care and communication. Overall, it was not worth the price.
Fresh and fantastic. Well packed and fast delivery. Will definitely order again
I've ordered from Uber eats twice now and I've noticed there's no difference between the maki rolls and the normal rolls. I even went through the online menu on their website and they make it look like there's a difference (probably so the menu looks fuller) but it's just the same thing... Or I got the wrong order. It's just kind of disappointing.Either way the sushi was tasty, fresh and filling.
