What Rahat U dislikes about Sunset Grill:
Hi Sunset Grill, I visited your Bloor street location today and was utterly disappointed. I ordered your special ‘crab cake benedict’ and when I got the dish it had three fried eggs! I asked why fried and not poached and I was told that unless I ask for poached it comes with friend eggs. So I spent a good 10 mins on google searching for an eggs Benedict recipe that comes with fried eggs...and guess what, I’m not stup... View all feedback.

I’m visiting from London and stumbled upon Sunset Grill last Sunday while staying at a nearby hotel—and let me just say, what a gem! From the moment I walked in, the energy was welcoming and vibrant. I was served by Caitlin, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and fast! In a busy breakfast rush, she made sure everything was on point with a genuine smile. Her service alone would bring me back. Now, let’s talk about the Eggs Benedict—wow. Perfectly poached eggs, creamy hollandaise, and that buttery English muffin Absolutely delicious. Hands down one of the best I’ve had in Canada. But the real highlight? Meeting Raj, the Manager. Polite, composed, and such a refreshing presence. I mentioned I was in a rush, and he made sure my order was ready within 5-7 minutes, even during peak hours. The way he managed the team, especially the kitchen staff, was impressive. It’s clear he leads with heart and discipline. We honestly need more young talent like him in the hospitality world. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Lovely breakfast spot with a warm, welcoming vibe and solid portions. We had scrambled eggs, an omelette with potatoes, turkey bacon, toast, fresh orange juice, and a side of salsa and guacamole — everything was flavorful and filling. The kids enjoyed coloring while waiting, which was a nice touch. Only letdown was that they didn’t have chai latte at this location , so I had English breakfast tea instead. Overall, a satisfying brunch experience with classic diner-style comfort food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great little breakfast spot with a cozy, family-friendly vibe. We ordered a mix of dishes — scrambled eggs, an omelette with potatoes, turkey bacon, toast, and fresh orange juice. Everything tasted fresh and hearty, and the portions were generous. My only disappointment was that they didn’t have chai latte at this location , so I settled for English breakfast tea instead. Still, the food made up for it. The kids loved the coloring activity while we waited, which kept them entertained. Would definitely come back for another classic breakfast! Located steps away from the Marriott Yorkville, this restaurant is bustling and busy. Despite the crowds, we were seated quickly, just before a line formed. Our server, who was very sweet, took the time to explain what pea meal bacon was before surprising us with a complimentary piece. The food itself was fresh and delicious, with everything from pancakes to omelets to fruit and bacon. The coffee was hot and tasty, and everything was served quickly but not rushed. The prices were great, and we highly recommend this place.
I've been here for the last three days in a row.Service has been consistently friendly, and my food arrived very fast every time.Nothing fancy, but definitely hits the spot.Being a creature of habit, I will likely keep coming back all week.
Had a Sunset Omlett. So huge and was able to finish only half but very tasty. Want to visit again.
I love eating here. The staff is friendly. The food is good and good prices too. Always a pleasant experience. My only complaint is the idiots and Drama Queens customers that I hear bitching about poached eggs not made her way and other MORONIC complaints. Keep up the good work Sunset Grill! My friends and I will be back a lot more. .

Went there for late breakfast it was OK. Clean good servce, cheaper than some places. Food was not got enough hence OK review.
I love this place the decor is simple lunch counter plus tables but you can be in/out quickly or also you can linger with friends if you wish. The staff always seem friendly and I love the open plan grill give you a chance to see that the kitchen area is as clean as the sitting area. Order anything with the Canadian bacon !!

So I had a poutine that was made in a breakfast way (gravy replaced by hollandaise sauce, and regular fries were replaced by home fries) I didn't enjoy it that much but it wasn't that bad either. The lady who served us was top notch and very nice.
So I spent a good 10 mins on google searching for an eggs Benedict recipe that comes with fried eggs...and guess what, I’m not stupid! There’s is no such thing as a Benedict with fried eggs. I asked again at the cashier and was told that this is the instruction they received from head office and I should file a complaint there. Very disappointed...the staff however where very nice. Could you please refer me to a chef who considers fried eggs to be Benedict?

Get there early if you plan on attending Sunday mornings. Line-up starts around 10 am so get there before. Plentify, a wide breakfast menu, well-prepared. It is good, reliable, and plenty of 20somethings to look at among the patrons.
Restaurant where you can experience the typical American breakfast. well-made food, generous rations and reasonable care. It's not very cheap but it's not bad for what is usually seen in Toronto. A good option to start the day with energy.
The staff is rather familiar but very helpful. the menu is quite varied. The mushroom omelette, bacon is cheddar was good. the portion is excessive even for a good eater. Rissolated potatoes were pasty and boiled more than rissolated. The coffee was correct without more. during a next stay in toronto I will certainly opt for another restaurant for my breakfasts.
Nice place to have breakfast. Both meals were hot and tasty. Our waiter was very attentive and efficient. Fabulous service - thanks so much.
