What LKChaqi dislikes about Sumac Kebab Kitchen:
We were five of us ordered together; however, meals served not at the same time, I had to wait 30 minutes, this is not a good hospitality. The chicken bbq was dry served with salad had no dressing, not even on the side. That was our third and last visit. Every time the food was salty. View all feedback.
My husband and I went here a few weeks ago, on the last weekend before New Year 's. It was a Saturday and we went for lunch. The restaurant was not that busy when we entered, but still we waited more than 5 minutes to be seated, despite there being several empty tables and several servers walking around. They had a sign that said 'Please Wait to be Seated '. So we did. When the girl at the takeout counter finally caught our eye, she just pointed to some of the tables in front of the counter and said, "Sit anywhere. "So we sat down and browsed the menu on our phones. During this time, no one came to greet us or to tell us how the ordering worked. Finally, after 10 mins of waiting, my husband went to the counter and placed our order. We both got the mixed grill plate with a lamb kabob, beef boti, and chicken pieces. The chicken was not as flavourful but the lamb and beef were amazing. The rice and garlic sauce were also good, and everything was delicious. But the service was extremely lacking. During the time we ate our food, there was no one who came by, even the restaurant was not that busy. When we were getting ready to finish up, it started to become busy then.I asked one of the servers for a yo-yo box and he basically just thrust it at me when he gave it to me, his eyes on the ever growing line. The food was 5/5 but the service was a 2. I know others who have been here before and they have said the same thing. I would go here again if the service got better.
The restaurant has been revitalized under new management. The woman in charge was exceptionally respectful and friendly. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable.
I had the worst kebab of my life at this restaurant. I can't even put into words how terrible it was.
