I came here with my mom and dined in this time. My mom ordered the sampler platter which was great. I ordered the chicken breast/skewer over dirty rice and my meal was brought to me as the pulled chicken. I returned it and waited another 20 mins only for it to be brought out with the wrong rice. By this time my mom was already finished so I ended up just eating it.Thought the individual at the cash could have been a... View all feedback.
Why 5 stars? It’s not a Michelin star restaurant. However, the value is AMAZING. The place is cool, bright and spacious, menu is filled with options for vegans and not vegans, and the price is affordable. Food tasted fresh and it’s made with quality ingredients and pitas are made here. Lots of shareable options. This place is worth a visit! Occasion: your walking with friends and family in distillery district and want delicious bite without losing half your salary
Excellent high quality food in a great environment. You can see everything is made with love and class. It is unique and authentic. We basically had all the meats and everything was good, except the pulled chicken, which is basically boiled and with almost no flavor. My favourite was the Open Beef Shawarma Sandwich. The Saj Pita it comes on is delicious and the Beef is juicy. The Hallum Cheese was really good too but I found the price to be a little expensive for the quantity. Would definitely like to try the Chefs Sampler in a bigger group. It is a mix of different hummus’s and tahinis and other dips, along with pita. But comes in a large quantity.
Tastewise this place too good. All food was fresh and perfect to eat. Only thing that disappointed me was cost and quantity of food. Location does not have parking space and only few pay n park spots available. It is one of the best place for patio season.
Their fresh made saj pitas are some of the best I've had and goes nicely with their dips. The dirty rice they make is also unique as I've never had it at another location but highly recommend that if you have the opportunity to try it.
Amazing place to try Mediterranean food. Prices are very nominal, we tried falafel and the polnessian fries, both are must try. We also had pistachio baklava bites for dessert. Best baklava in Toronto.
