If you're craving a delicious baklava or sweet dessert, this is the place to go. They offer fresh bread and a variety of imported goods from Greece. Their coffee is top-notch and they also serve tasty deli sandwiches.
Good Wedding Cakes. Our Select Bakery wedding cake was fantastic. They had a huge selection and they delivered it for us. Highly recommended.
As soon as you walk into the bakery, you are greeted by a display of beautiful wedding-style cakes on the right and more wedding or party cakes on the left. It feels like you are stepping into Cake Heaven. In the center, there is an island filled with various types of breads and sweet treats. Initially, my friend thought these were the Ekmek that her personal trainer had recommended. I have a weakness for puddings and will definitely try one next time. The cheesecake was tempting, but I couldn't resist the mocha cake. And of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to indulge in a delicious tiramisu. It all looks so decadent and satisfying.
I have visited all of the Greek bakeries in Toronto, and this one is my favorite due to its superior quality.
The pomegranate tahini found in a Greek store beautifully bridges the culinary traditions of the Middle East and the flavors of the West, creating a delightful fusion of tastes and cultures.
