I have eaten in many shawarma places in GTA, but this is by far my favourite for a beef wrap, since it is consistently good. Every time I order it, it tastes the same and I love the spiciness! Also, they now have their Daily Specials, including 2 regular shawarmas for $9.99 which is a steal! Yes, they don't chat much, but that has probably more to do with a language barrier than anything else. They are always smiling... View all feedback.
What Amanda Davis doesn't like about Sarah's Shawarma & Falafal:
Went there based on reviews and in hopes to find "the best" shawarma.Ended up with great disappointment. I ordered mixed meat shawarma pita, they only have either chicken or beef, so she shaved off not even an once of beef then a bit of chicken. Small round pita pocket was filled with shredded lettuce couple of pieces of barely red tomato, onion, parsley, teaspoon of tahini drizzled over, then topped with that bit of... View all feedback.
Loved the breakfast foods! I had a giant portion of fresh fruit with a delicious sausage egg and cheese on a roll with avocados in it or something along
My boyfriend and I were craving biscuits and gravy this morning, so we decided to stop by Kate's Kitchen since it was nearby.
Tried a falafel wrap here the other day and I can honestly say it was the worst falafel wrap I've ever eaten. Pretty disgusting and there are much better options in the area. The pita was dry and cardboard like, the vegetables were not fresh, there was too much tabouli giving it an overpowering parsley taste, the pickle had no crunch, the sauces were bland and the falafel balls are not made to order. Seriously disgusting waste of stomach space, very disappointed.
I had a falafel there for lunch today. Fresh veggies, especially lettuce was finely shredded and very nice. The service was fast and pleasant. Unlike other falafel places in the area, it was not unbearably salty, either. I will go back for more falafels.
