Nestled in the heart of the city, this restaurant offers a promising safe haven for those with celiac disease, boasting a predominantly gluten-free menu and knowledgeable staff. Diners rave about the culinary delights, including crispy beef and celiac-safe chicken wings, while praising the inviting atmosphere and attentive service. However, occasional inconsistency in food preparation has raised concerns about cross-contamination and cleanliness. Despite some mixed experiences, many customers express confidence in the restaurant's commitment to gluten-free dining. With a few improvements, this establishment has the potential to become a local favorite for gluten-free cuisine enthusiasts.

You have a few gluten elements on the menu, but this place is as safe as it will get for celiac. They really know their stuff. The owners are known for their gluten-free preparations. Food is great overall. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Riz On St Clair:
Feels very celiac-safe, but unfortunately I find the food and the atmosphere to be lacking. Doesn't feel exceptionally clean and the food doesn't taste exceptionally great nor fresh. Lots of potential here though. Love that they do GF spring rolls. Hope they can work on the quality of the experience a bit. View all feedback.
The food and service at this restaurant were incredible. We will definitely be returning in the future. I would recommend it to anyone looking for gluten-free options. The menu clearly indicates which options are vegetarian. If you have dietary restrictions, don't worry - they also have gluten-free and vegan options available, and the staff is very helpful in explaining your choices.
I called to ask if the restaurant's menu was safe for people with celiac disease, not just gluten-free. I was told to check online and the person on the phone was unfriendly and unhelpful. I emphasized that I needed clarification on the phone due to the difference between celiac disease and gluten-free options, but the person remained rude and uncooperative. As a result of this poor customer service, you have lost two potential customers.
I would give the food a perfect 10 out of 10! This was my first visit to the restaurant, but I will definitely be a regular customer from now on. The crispy beef was absolutely amazing, and there were so many gluten-free options available.
Will and the female server (sadly didn't get her name) gave the best Toronto experience today! We had them during the last hour before closing today. They were very approachable, caring, overall great hospitality and great food. If I didn't live in the States I would come again soon just to see these two! They were great company! The restaurant was very accommodating to my friend and his mom's Celiac needs which I really enjoyed!
