One has to remember that this place has long been (and survived the rise in the price in the building rental, as many small businesses had to have closed the last few years cheap and tasty food, ideal for students or any budget. This place has been around for longer than even new incoming undergrad uni students nowadays, so it holds a form of history in its space that I think should be respected. Run by a wonderful pair of people one who cooks, one who takes the orders runs the cash; they make me feel completely at home whenever I go there. People need to remember the price at which you're paying for perfect budget location for a quick bite. Can't complain about the meal when it's $4 before tax+tip and one can walk out with a $5 meal and be decently full. It's definitely more HOME FOOD style...so there's no place for people paying marginal prices, expecting a gourmet meal here, and then complaining about it. Favourite is the BBQ Pork fried rice or an Eggplant dish it's a simple meal but I wouldn't complain for the price and location where they're at.
