Pukka is our fave place to enjoy a “ date” night. The food is beyond fabulous-always spot on! The bartender makes wicked good cocktails. Love love this restaurant! Service is excellent. Portions are huge. We always have leftovers for lunch to stretch the tastes!!! What Batis-Joan-Mex dislikes about Pukka:
Nice restaurant. Was craving badly for some hot Indian. Not your regulat run of the mill. Have some nice options. We had the Boatmans Fish and prawns. The fish hasnt absorbed the spices and wasn't to my expectation. The prawns were overcooked. The coconut curry sauce was nice. The portion was humongous and the price was too. Curry was hot the rice was lukewarm. My friends were too of the opinion. This was the pricies... View all feedback.
This was my first visit to Pukka.__The place looks fantastic and the staff were very helpful!__Tonight I found some new items on the menu that I haven't
I'm really quite confused as to why there are so many high reviews of this placeI came here on a Sunday evening with 4 other people.
Came here with a friend to try out this Indian fusion restaurant. Service was normal, not super fast but very friendly as they also take your coats for you. It was warm inside and dark, really setting a nice ambience for a date night. The food was good but not outstanding. Although it's considered an Indian fusion restaurant, some dishes (duck breast) didn't taste very Indian. We ordered the Pukka Chaat, which was flavourful and with a tiny kick of spice. We also ordered the duck breast with blueberry curry, but the curry was more of a jam in my opinion. Finally we got the pumpkin curry which was delicious but it is mildly spiced.

Pukka is hands down a standout Indian restaurant in Toronto. The food is absolutely brilliant—every dish feels elevated and full of flavour. The fish was perfectly flaky, Dal Makhani luxuriously creamy, and the Butter Chicken? Pure comfort in a bowl. Portions are generous, presentation is thoughtful, and the balance of spices is just right. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, Pukka never misses. A true gem for modern Indian cuisine!
