Pukka is hands down a standout Indian restaurant in Toronto. The food is absolutely brilliant—every dish feels elevated and full of flavour. The fish was perfectly flaky, Dal Makhani luxuriously creamy, and the Butter Chicken? Pure comfort in a bowl. Portions are generous, presentation is thoughtful, and the balance of spices is just right. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, Pukka never misses. A true gem for modern Indian cuisine! Came here with a friend to try out this Indian fusion restaurant. Service was normal, not super fast but very friendly as they also take your coats for you. It was warm inside and dark, really setting a nice ambience for a date night. The food was good but not outstanding. Although it's considered an Indian fusion restaurant, some dishes (duck breast) didn't taste very Indian. We ordered the Pukka Chaat, which was flavourful and with a tiny kick of spice. We also ordered the duck breast with blueberry curry, but the curry was more of a jam in my opinion. Finally we got the pumpkin curry which was delicious but it is mildly spiced.

Open for more than a decade, Pukka has been a staple in the midtown Toronto area for their contemporary Indian cuisine with the classics and reimagined takes on childhood favourites! Ranging from their Pukka Chaat to start off any meal or their hearty mains such as their paneer and Seafood Curry, it is a great meal to share with friends and family!
