I had previously visited this restaurant, but I recently returned and discovered that it is now under new management. I had a wonderful experience with both the food and customer service. The staff member was exceptionally helpful and polite. I ordered a veggie sandwich, and all the vegetables and bread were incredibly fresh. I truly appreciated their commitment to customer service. The worker was very rude. I asked a question and he didn’t answer so I repeated it thinking he didn’t hear me but he really was just ignoring me. When I paid he basically yelled to press the green button when it hadn’t even showed on the screen yet and when it went through he walked away without saying anything. Fast service. They made my order like professionals.The bun was old and not fresh which kinda ruined the entire sub. I got the bun that was clearly one of the last leftover buns from probably the night before or whenever. It's easy to detect when you get an old bun because it has the taste and texture of bread that's been sitting in a bag for hours. It looses it crispness and freshness when in a closed tied up baggie for a few hours. I wish they didn't leave their buns in bags for long periods of time. It makes the bun lose its freshness taste and texture. A bun that is not fresh from a SANDWHICH shop ruins the entire meal and purpose of choosing a sandwich for your meal option.Unfortunate to have been given an old and unfresh bun. I was craving a fresh bun sandwich and unfortunately did not get that.2/5 for the food score aoleybdo to the older bun. The rest of the ingredients were great. Unfresh bun ruined the sub.5/5 service. Went to the location University Dundas st downtown Toronto. A lady named Emily was working that day I just want to mention how clean she keeps it there. The condiments were so nice tidy.. Her work station was well organized well kept. She was very nice she just finished baking bread so the sandwiches that I ordered were the freshest I've ever had! will definitely be back to see her...
