Milagro On Mercer - Toronto

It had been more than ten years since my last visit to this restaurant, and I'm not sure why it took me so long to return. Even though we had to dine on the patio due to COVID restrictions in Toronto, the experience was fantastic. The host who greeted us was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the cocktails were fantastic. The food was incredible, bursting with great flavors! The only strange part was that, after we confirmed our arrival on the day of, we received another message asking us to reconfirm—this time from Bookenda. It was odd since we had originally booked through OpenTable.

The food was fantastic! I ordered the Tacos Rosarito, and my boyfriend opted for the Adobado Burrito. Both dishes were delicious and satisfying, and the guacamole was especially tasty. Our server was very friendly as well. I will definitely be returning!

During our visit, several items on the menu were unavailable, including tuna, tortilla soup, and one of the tequila brands, which was quite disappointing. The side of Mexican rice we ordered was dry and lacked flavor. We've previously dined at Milagro and had a wonderful experience, so we were surprised by this visit. However, our waiter Zac was lovely and provided great service.

It was great to catch up with friends on Milagro's patio. The food was amazing as usual and the service keeps us wanting to come back!

Overall my experience was good but the service was slow. It wasn't extremely busy when we went and it seemed like our server forgot about us. Other than that the food was great!
