Was User at Mia Brunch a mag?
This morning I was served by a waitress named Angela. She was incredibly kind, intellectual and efficient along with the other staff. This restaurant was immaculately clean and cozy. I sat on the back patio and proceeded to order drinks first. They wereperfect. I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon and avocado on the side and a fruit bowl to end off to clear my palate. All ofmy food was incredible and served quickl... View all feedback.
What Brandon T dislikes about Mia Brunch:
This brunch spot is just average. The chicken and waffles were decent; the chicken was well-cooked, but the waffles were a bit soggy and the sauce on top was overly sweet. The French toast was okay, though slightly dry, but the corn flake coating added an interesting touch. They were quite generous with the whipped cream. The brunch poutine started off well but lacked depth of flavor, becoming a bit monotonous by the... View all feedback.
We had a fantastic brunch at this restaurant. We tried the chicken and waffles and the crunchy French toast, both bursting with flavor. The chicken was seasoned simply yet deliciously, and the crunchy texture of the French toast has set a new standard for me—I'm not sure I can enjoy regular French toast again! The maple cream Chantilly that came with the French toast had just the right amount of maple flavor, making it absolutely delightful. We also tasted the Apple Bees Knees and French Spritz cocktails, which were both delicious and refreshing. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu! Plus, the service was incredibly friendly!
First and foremost, the service was exceptional, and the portion sizes were ample. Now, let's talk about the details: the chicken and waffles were the best I've ever had. The sweetness of the waffle was perfectly balanced, enhancing the spice and crunch of the fried chicken wonderfully. It created a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The smoked salmon Benedict was outstanding—truly one of the best I've tasted—and the Nutella waffles were the perfect way to end the meal. This restaurant is a hidden gem, complete with a charming patio!
The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. The chicken and waffles were fantastic – a definite must-try! I really liked the atmosphere of the place and would highly recommend it! It's quiet enough for sitting and chatting with friends, making it an excellent spot for a Saturday morning. The only downside was that it was quite warm that day, and I have to say, I wasn't a fan of their mango smoothie.
The portion size was sufficient, but I found insects in my vegetables, which was quite unsettling and suggests they weren’t washed properly. The salmon omelet tasted very plain—lacking salt, spices, or any distinctive flavor. Overall, I didn’t enjoy the food, although the decoration and atmosphere were pleasant. The terrace in the back is sooo charming and fun! The tree is giving just enough shade but the sun is shining and making your brunch memorable. Staff was really not present, not even putting up the table or serving water, unfortunately. The food is GENEROUS (except the fruit in the brunch plate, basic). It’s a good option for after a night out I’d say! A lot of fried foods. Only one yogurt option. But the spot is so cute it’s ok. Coffee looked bad and overpriced, we had ours before so I can’t tell.
