Glad to see them back! The space is bigger and there are more tables but maybe too many, it’s a bit congested. The food is the important part and it’s still amazing. The paper dosa is gigantic but maybe a little more filling is needed. The eggplant alu is very good but a bit too small for the price. Service is very good, it was getting very busy as we left with the patio tables filling up too so a third set of hands... View all feedback.
What Orpha Upton doesn't like about Madras Masala:
Decent food that taste good served in generous portions. We ordered Mushrooms with green peas, kottu roti and chicken along with nice bread. The breads were my favourite. Service is adequate but not great. Will visit again View all feedback.

As it's very close to my house by Christie Pits we go there very often with a whole family . Place is small but family friendly . Dosas are huge and so yummy .kids loves it!
Every single dish wonderful on my many visits over the years. Found this place in my new neighbourhood after craving dosas after coming back from several months in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Every meat and vegetable dish bursting with flavour, every bread and rice dish distinct, all side dishes great, too. Service can be slow by totally worth it. In the winter, the mutton dosa is a slice of heaven. In the summer, go for a lunch and then go lick your fingers while you lie on the deck at the nearby Christie Pits public pool. Lying there after a swim in the hot sun, belly full of deliciousness, you can sometimes smell the aroma wafting over from the restaurant and you can imagine you are on a beach in India, having stuffed yourself at a nearby restaurant. Highly recommended.
