I’ve been a repeat customer with friends and the experience has been consistently excellent. The food, service, and ambience were always on point. A place that gets it right every time. The Signature Singapore Style Slaw with 24 ingredients was a featured dish and truly stood out — fresh, vibrant, full of flavour, not to mention decadently presented. And the Tong Yuen dessert — a perfect finish to the meal. Service was top-notch from start to finish. Staff were warm, professional, and took the time to explain each dish as it was served. The ambience was elegant and immersive, making each visit feel special. It filled up fast with bustling patrons. It was just absolutely captivating — refined, relaxing, and designed to let you fully immerse yourself in the dining experience (well, you might need to set a timer so you can still leave with lighter wallet than you walked in with). Highly recommend for anyone looking for a consistently great dining experience. I am very conflicted in this review. While the food and drink was excellent, and the staff was very nice, the service was horrendous. I have never had drinks and food take as long as they did anywhere in Toronto before. We were sharing our food and the servers kept removing the sharing plates before each course, I was given wrong directions to the restroom and the card machines didnt work. The worst part was the timing. We waited over 45 minutes for the slaw, then after we finished, 45 minutes for the appetizers, then after clearing that we waited 45 minutes for the main courses to come out. Add the waiting time for the broken credit card machine and we were there almost 3hrs and never even got to after dinner drinks or desert, as we just did not have any time. The food was delicious, inventive and well presented, but sadly it did not make up for the service issues. The servers were friendly but I could tell they were all struggling from lack of training, management oversight and assistance. I would love to recommend Lee, but the desperately need to get these basic issues addressed. Beware if you are on a tight schedule. We came to Lee for a group meal to celebrate our friend’s milestone birthday. The decor is beautiful and although it’s a big restaurant, they’ve done a great job at making it feel intimate. We got the preset menu at $125 which comes with the menu I’ve attached. They print the menu specifically for the event you’re attending which is a great touch. My favourite dishes were the coleslaw, spring rolls, and the braised beef. It is a bit difficult to share some of the other dishes, but these three were easy for the family style serving and very delicious. There is parking right underneath, accessible from the road to the right of the restaurant. We had a great night here! I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Susur Lee made an appearance, and the food was delicious—creative, well-prepared, and served at the perfect temperature. The slaw was particularly outstanding! The drinks were decent, though I found them a bit pricey. Some might argue that the food is expensive for fusion Chinese cuisine, but I believe the overall experience is what truly matters. If you're considering hosting a business meeting here, be aware that it can get a bit noisy. Overall, I would definitely recommend it!
The food was extraordinary, and the staff provided exceptional service. They were incredibly knowledgeable and very accommodating regarding a food allergy in our group. The slaw salad and blackened cod were the best I've ever had. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Well done, everyone, and thank you!
