What SylviaToronto doesn't like about Lac Vien Vietnamese Restaurant:
Ok, so this is not a bad place unless you are Vegetarian/Vegan...I still can 't wrap my head around a vegetable Pho that is served with either chicken or beef. What is the point? The answer I got was that 'some people don 't like to eat meat '...you think? Most of these people are vegetarian/vegan and they don ' t care for their broth to be made out of animals either. I don 't understand why this is such a foreign co... View all feedback. What Paul C likes about Lac Vien Vietnamese Restaurant:
After my second visit, I just had to make the effort and give this place a review. This is a very typical Vietnamese restaurant food wise, but they seem to have made an effort to keep it clean and inviting. Even the bathrooms were well kept and didn't smell (fairly unusual for a Vietnamese restaurant). Give this place a whirl. read moreLacVien in Scarborough offers a clean and bright environment with a strong emphasis on using fresh ingredients. While the menu is impressive with good portion sizes and reasonable prices, the flavors of the dishes could use a bit more depth according to some visitors. The restaurant's soup broth is highly praised, but there have been comments about changes in flavor. Despite this, LacVien remains a popular spot for those looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the GTA. The service is prompt and the portions are generous, making it a great option for a hearty meal at an affordable price.
