This review is for the Leslieville location on Queen St E. This review is based 100% on the food, as we have eaten their food many times it has always been for delivery, never have visited the restaurant. In my mind it is harder to satisfy the home delivery customer, as that even no matter how prompt the delivery the food is at a disadvantage. We have ordered a variety of items, from sashimi to tempura to udon soup,... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kibo Sushi House:
They are oriented mostly for take-out customers and such customers served first. If you want just go there and eat be prepared to wait 30-40 min to get your order served. They might forget to give your drinks. Sushi was OK. View all feedback.
Foods are clean and yammy. A lot of choices. Also hot foods were great especially beef teriyaki Udon.

Three of us walked there from a friend's house for lunch. It was satisfactory, but nothing special. Edamame beans are edamame beans - it's hard to make it particularly good or bad. Tempura was low average - very thin bits of veggies in it (miserly portions) and the batter was pretty oily. Salmon pizza was just ok, but definitely on the bland side. Waitress was fine. Did her job efficiently, without cracking a smile once. Toilets are far, far away along corridors and down stairs and the walk there looked pretty grimy. Frankly, in a city where there are excellent restaurants everywhere (e.g Echo Sushi on Yonge at Davisville) I expect smiling servers and above average food.
This review is for the Walker Avenue location in mid-town. A very low-key neighbourhood sushi house - seems to be quite popular with the take-out crowd as well as locals looking for a quick bite. The food is good, though nothing special. But it is good value, served quickly, and sometimes (maybe often) that is exactly what you want.

We have ordered a variety of items, from sashimi to tempura to udon soup, and have not been disappointed. The tempura suffers slightly as it becomes a bit soggy, but they vent the container so best efforts all around. Thoughtfully they provide chopsticks and soy sauce with a tray! Delivery has always been prompt and friendly, you cant go wrong.
