Was Anonym at Junction Local a mag?
Took my parents there for their wedding anniversary along with a few kids as well. The ambiance is great with a modern rustic feel. Great selection of booze and coffee beverages are very good. The food is fantastic and rich. My 6 year old wasn't a fan so recommend your children are 8-9+ as you need a good palette for the food. The burger was awesome and even the mac and cheese was rich and tasty. Portions are fairly... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Junction Local:
I am a local resident and frequent the various bars/restaurants on Dundas regularly for dinner and drinks. We went to the Junction Local on a rather quiet midweek evening. (only around 4 tables full) We were greeted and seated by a rather rude/grumpy seeming waitress who made it very clear that she wanted to go home. Our waitress did not come back to our table to take our drink orders, so we had to flag (who i believe... View all feedback.

We had dinner here before taking a friend to Pearson airport. The shrimp, chicken, and brisket were delicious, and the beer selection was impressive.
This restaurant was quite satisfactory overall. Our group of approximately 15 people visited on a Saturday evening. One notable highlight was the diverse selection of beers available.
DO NOT BOOK YOUR GROUP GATHERING HERE. We had a reservation for a staff holiday party that was booked 3 months ago and Junction Local claims that we didn't make a reservation, even though it's clearly documented and confirmed in the email communication. We believe they forgot about us, then took on another much larger booking, and then refused to honour our reservation (despite it having been made earlier) because the larger party would provide them with more income. Either way, it's utterly unacceptable and a terrible way to do business. Definitely have no interest in supporting such a flaky establishment with such little integrity. THANK YOU FOR RUNING OUR STAFF HOLIDAY PARTY.
This restaurant was not what I anticipated. While it was enjoyable, the prices were not justified.
I had heard about Junction Local, so we decided to try it out on Saturday night. This cozy, open concept corner restaurant was a nice surprise. The decor is great, the exposed brick wall behind the bar and the barn board make this open concept restaurant feel cozy. Large windows also give this place a nice roomy feel. The restaurant has a nice mix of small dishes and hearty mains. I ordered the Mac n Cheese which was delicious, served piping hot in it's own cast iron dish, also great value. My partner ordered the beef brisket which was a generous portion served on mash potatoes and veg on the side, the flavour was exceptional, the meat super tender. He said it was the best he's ever had! The restaurant was quite full and the service was excellent. I look forward to going back to this great neighbourhood place!
