The desserts were dry and did not taste freshly baked. They only accept cash or debit, likely to avoid the roughly 2% credit card fee. However, it's common practice to tip at least 15%, which seems a bit off given their payment policies. View all feedback.

This bakery is the most delicious spot in Toronto, featuring incredibly friendly staff and delightful food. I attempted to resist my cravings for the mini donuts at another bakery, but none compare to Janchenkos. Every visit feels like stepping into home. I highly recommend this hidden gem in our city!

Very special place. Photo shows delicious sauer kraut and mushroom bun. Great selection of Eastern european pastries and breads.
